FILTRATION MAGIC

Each POU device from Eco Water Solution has its own FILTERING SYSTEM (the latest generation of mechanical, molecular and membrane filters) designed to provide consistently high quality purified water. Different filters have different effects, and their number and type can be advised by our specialists according to the area, composition and quality of the plumbing water. An “Individual Plan” is added to the selection of filters, which is consistent with the customer’s annual consumption (number of employees + visitors) over the useful life of the filters. If it is NOT reached within 12 months, the filter (s) will be replaced again.

Regarding the monitoring of the water supply and sewerage network and the quality of drinking water, it is important to mention that each water company is legally obliged to inspect the water every 24 hours in its laboratory and to ensure the safety of settlements that supplies drinking water, but it is still possible to get various harmful impurities from the water supply network.

The POU filter system returns all qualitative metrics. More details about the magic of purification and the function of each filter can be found in the descriptions below:

Eco Water Solution uses the following PURIFYING FILTERS:

* The degree / number of filters per POU is determined individually by geographic area, grid state and water body composition.

Phase 1 – PRE-FILTER 10㎛/

This is the only filter that is positioned outside the POU and the only one whose function is NOT to purify the water but to keep the POU from accidents in the water supply network and the influx of highly polluted water. This is practically a 2nd sediment filter for large particles up to 10 °, which occupies a protective role in the system.

Phase 2 – SEDI / SEDIMENT FILTER 5㎛ /

A mechanical filter operating on the principle of revolving filtration and a 100% contact area when passing through the pores retains 99% of large particles such as dust, rust, sand, sludge.

Phase 3 – PRESSED CARBON BLOCK / PRE / 1.0㎛

Compressed activated carbon is a material with a very large contact surface [500-1500 m³ / g] twice as large as granular carbon. It is obtained from thermal treatment of carbonaceous materials such as coal, peat, wood and coconut, which makes it perfect for ingestion of active chlorine, improves the taste and neutralizes odors from the water.

Phase 4 – Option I – ULTRA FILTER / UF / 0.01㎛ /

Membrane filter that looks largely like reverse osmosis but with slightly larger pores giving it the following advantages:

retains 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and microorganisms

  • retains 100% of all mechanical impurities larger than 0,01 ㎛
  • passes beneficial substances such as Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn
  • working pressure below 5 bar, making it highly productive – 60 l / h

Phase 4 – Option II – MEMBRANE REVERSE OSMOSIS / RO / 0.0001㎛

Reverse osmosis is the process of forcing a solvent from an area of high concentration of the solute through a semipermeable membrane to a low concentration area of the solute by applying a pressure [ osmotic-27 bar].

RO is an interfacial polymer layer in a thin film composite membrane where the separation is performed. This process is best known for its desalination (removal of salt and other minerals from seawater to produce drinking water), but since the early 1970s it has been used to purify drinking water for medical, industrial and household purposes, such as “table water”.

Advantages:

  • retains 99.99% of minerals, salts, limestone, pesticides, sulphates, heavy metals, mercury, bromine and others.
  • holds 100% of all mechanical impurities larger than 0,0001㎛
  • working pressure 5-30 bar, performance – 15 l / h
  • 25% – pure water, 75% – is thrown into a dirty canal

Phase 5 – GRANULATED POST CARBON / POST /

In this phase, activated charcoal is in granular form [GAC], its action is similar to that of pressed activated charcoal, with the difference that the focus is on the final improvement of taste and neutralization of odors by the water.

WATER HARDNESS

Water hardness is one of the leading criteria in defining the FILTER SYSTEM by our specialists. Bulgaria is a country with many different water reserves. In populated areas, the water is softer [low in minerals], in others it is harder and limestone [elevated Ca and Mg]. The legend provides detailed information on the hardness specific to regions and the Eco Water Solution recommendation.

We recommend the following filtration for West, Southwest and Central Bulgaria

[SEDI] SEDIMENT FILTER[5.0µ]

[PRE] PRESSURE ACTIVE CIRCUIT [1.0µ]

[UF] ULTRA FILTER [0.01µ]

[POST] GRANULATED ACTIVE CIRCUIT [–µ]

* In both cases, Eco Water Solution specialists make an analysis of the inclusion of a PREFILTER as a first filter [total 5-stage filtration] in the event that construction works are carried out in close proximity to the customer, the pipelines are highly corroded or others.

We recommend the following filtering for the Southeast, Northeast and Central of Bulgaria

[SEDI] SEDIMENT FILTER [5.0µ]

[PRE] PRESSURE ACTIVE CIRCUIT [1.0µ]

[RO] MEMBRANE REVERSE OSMOSIS  [0.0001µ]

[POST] GRANULATED ACTIVE CIRCUIT [–µ]
